Are You a Beginner ?

Anyone of any age can have a go it is fun, it is sociable, and it gives you healthy exercise!  You are welcome to come to a Club Night to meet us and see what we do, and we will help you find a route to enjoy Scottish Country Dancing.

For complete beginners, a Scottish Country Dance class is sometimes run by Adult and Community Learning at the Guildford Centre, Sydenham Rd,  Guildford GU1 3RX (01483 518528).

Ash & District U3A 

Scottish Country Dancing - Thursday mornings, 10.30-12.00 at the Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road, Ash, GU12 5DP.  Weekly.
These classes are taken by Catherine Smith.

Horsley U3A 

Scottish Country Dancing - Fortnightly on Wednesday afternoons, 16.00-18.00 at the Effingham Community Hall, Forest Road, Effingham Junction, Surrey, KT24 5HD. 
These classes are taken by Celia Chapman who is also the organiser. 
First meeting on the 20th  September.

Woking U3A

Scottish Country Dancing - Second and fourth  Tuesday afternoons of the month, 14.00-16.00 at the Cornerstone Centre (St. John's Church), Camphill Road, W. Byfleet, KT14 6EH. These classes are run by Gaynor Curtis.
First meeting on the 12th September to 12th December;
Term 2: 9th January to 27th March;
Term 3: 10th April to 22nd May

Haslemere U3A

Scottish Country Dancing - Every Friday, 10.15-11.45 at the Maud Hardman Hoyle Memorial Hall, Linchmere Road, Haslemere, Surrey, GU27 3QW.
Two Fridays each month are taught by Catherine Smith. (Other dates are led by volunteers.)
First meeting September 1st.
